Years of persistent entrepreneurship and angel investing have led Phil deep into the fascinatingly complex mental health ecosystem, with a particularly strong pull to breathwork (and demystifying its art and science via The Breath Circle). This journey through the wellnessuniverse - both personally and professionally - has called him to help reinvent the way healthy ventures and conscious entrepreneurs become efficiently resourced, activated and scaled.

Rewinding the time machines, his early finance years in investment banking at Credit Suisse (NYC and Sydney) led to working in international business development at Scientific Games (NASDAQ: SGMS). Then in 2014, after becoming fluent in Mandarin, he cofounded Cadence Translate, a 500 Startups-backed venture started in Beijing, now providing top-tier language services to the global business and investment communities.

Phil currently lives in Austin, TX where he enjoys biking, kayaking, bouldering, and cultivating his green thumb.

With a core purpose to help people and an insatiable thirst for new knowledge and experiences, Jeffery diverged from the more traditional path of being a medical doctor and chose a life of adventure and impact, which took him first to Beijing to design systems & touchpoints for WildChina, a renowned luxury-adventure travel company, and then to Bali as an independent marketing consultant.

A science MBA, he’s obsessed with not only the processes and operations that create results (i.e. Notion), but also the human factors that must be at the core of architecting any system. His workshops are compelling, insights poignant, and energy unmatched in any collaborative ecosystem and he also moonlights at a collective intelligence startup, Resourceful.

Jeffery has returned to his hometown of Austin, TX and enjoys days on the water, playing lacrosse, and engaging conversations over a coffee buzz.
